Beth Vanderslice is a partner at Trewstar Corporate Board Services, a search firm specializing in corporate board placements. She served on the board of Xilinx, Inc. for over 20 years and joined the board of AMD subsequent to its acquisition. Beth also serves on the boards of AESC Group Ltd. (an EV battery technology company) and Universe Holdings (a global provider of energy and carbon management technology solutions and services). Dr. Anirudh Devgan is President and CEO of Cadence and is a member of the Board of Directors. Dr. John L. Hennessy is Chair of the Board of Alphabet, Inc. and served on the Board of Directors for Cisco Systems. He is the Director of Knight-Hennessy Scholars, the largest fully endowed graduate-level scholarship program in the world. Dr. Tsu-Jae King Liu is the Dean of the College of Engineering at UC Berkeley, and recently received the IEEE Founders Medal. Early in her career, she joined the faculty of the UC Berkeley, where she has held various administrative leadership positions. Dr. Liu has authored or co-authored over 550 publications and holds over 90 patents. She is an IEEE Fellow and an elected member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering. She earned her B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Fern Mandelbaum is a Managing Director at Emerson Collective, where she leads early-stage investing. Dr. Jennifer Widom is the Frederick Emmons Terman Dean of the School of Engineering and the Fletcher Jones Professor in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. Dr. Judith Spitz is the Founder and CEO of Break Through Tech, a national initiative on a mission to change the path to power and influence in an AI-enabled world. Katya Echazarreta moved to the United States from Mexico at the age of eight. Under the direction of Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, Miriam led the creation and development of the Implicit Bias Training for Federal Law Enforcement. She served in the White House in two Administrations, including as the Acting Director of Justice and Regulatory Affairs. She led the President's Equal Pay Task Force to promote equality in the workplace. Dr. Asu Ozdaglar leads the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science department and is the Deputy Dean of Academics for the Schwarzman College of Computing at MIT. Her research focuses on technical and societal aspects of large-scale data-driven systems. Asu’s expertise includes optimization, machine learning, economics, and networks. In recent years, she has investigated data ownership and markets, the spread of misinformation on social media, economic and financial contagion, and social learning. In addition, she has an active research program on large-scale optimization, especially in the context of machine learning. Asu received her PhD Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT and her Bachelor’s from the Middle East Technical University in Turkey.

Dr. Sarah H. Cen is a Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford and an incoming Assistant Professor at CMU. Dr. Cen recently finished her PhD at MIT in EECS, where she was a proud Thriving Star of AI and advised by Prof. Aleksander Mądry and Prof. Devavrat Shah. At Stanford, she works with Prof. Daniel Ho and Prof. Percy Liang in a joint position between the Department of Computer Science and the Law School. Dr. Cen's research is focused on the intersection of machine learning and AI accountability, exploring how computer science, law, and policy come together to ensure that AI is developed and deployed responsibly. Dr. Cen received a Master’s degree in Engineering Science (Robotics) from Oxford and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton.

Maria Colacurcio is the CEO of Syndio Solutions, a venture-backed SaaS startup that helps companies achieve workplace equity. Maria is passionate about helping companies drive their business using insights to unlock greater value from their workforce. Paula Goldman is Salesforce’s first-ever EVP, Chief Ethical and Humane Use Officer. In her role, she leads Salesforce in creating a framework to build and deploy ethical technology that optimizes social benefit. Kathy Pham is vice president of artificial intelligence at Workday. She is the first Workday AI ambassador and hosts the AI Horizons video series. Ece Kamar is the VP of Research and the Managing Director of the AI Frontiers Lab at Microsoft Research. She leads research and development towards pushing the frontiers of AI capabilities. Ece has a decade of experience studying the impact of AI on society and developing AI systems that are reliable, unbiased and trustworthy. She has been instrumental in building the Responsible AI efforts inside Microsoft. She serves as Technical Advisor for Microsoft’s Internal Committee on AI, Engineering and Ethics. Robin L. Washington is a member of the Board of Directors of Alphabet, Honeywell International, and Salesforce. Brandi Chastain is a two-time FIFA World Cup champion, two-time Olympic gold medalist and inductee to the National Soccer Hall of Fame. Brandi is now a co-founder of Bay FC, the first National Women’s Soccer League team in the Bay Area. Sarah Hinkfuss is a Partner at Bain Capital Ventures where she works with growth-stage founders in application software and fintech.  Before joining BCV, Sarah was a Vice President on the Tech Opportunities team at Bain Capital, and worked as an Associate in KKR’s Growth Equity group in San Francisco. Tina has been instrumental in the company’s phenomenal growth, now operating in 25 countries with over 13,000 employees, and its business success, making it one of the top 10 best performing companies in the NASDAQ 100 and S&P 500 over the last decade. Tina also serves on the Board of Directors of tech unicorn Visier, and as Chair of their Compensation Committee. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and her Graduate degree from UCLA Law School, after which she clerked on the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and then worked at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher before joining Cadence.
